Recycling phone systems

Why recycle?
You could be forgiven for thinking that nothing in Telecoms has any residual value when it comes to swapping out for new but this is not always the case. Most of our clients have a very unrealistic view to “value” of items that are financially “off the books” and are years old. But there is a silver lining, well bronze really!

Recycling your old phone system – what we do!

Most people seem to think recycling is the breaking down of items for their base value i.e. Plastics, Precious Metals etc and you would be right, that is one part of recycling. But where ever possible the whole item is sold on to be used another day, either here in the UK or abroad in developing countries. After all the items are usually in working order and their only crime is the technology is not up to date for a modern and technology based country like the UK. They can be used as spare parts or replacement for existing systems.

What’s in it for you?
Well if it has a value that exceeds the cost of picking the items up and recycling anything of no resale value, then we would pay the going rate for the phone system and equipment.

If the value is roughly the same as the recycling and disposal cost, then we would offer a free recovery and finally where there is no value in any of the telecoms items, we would then charge for recovery.

Roughly speaking, around 30% of recycling calls have a resale value
